Forthcoming Events

• 23 June Choral Evensong at St Margaret’s Church

  The Evening service will take the form of Choral Evensong with music to include world premieres of both Responses by Bertie Baigent and Canticles in Ab by Michael Brooker.

• 25 June Exploring Practical Spirituality

  The second of our two meetings enabled by Thalia Carr entitled ‘Prayer happens’. As before Thalia will lead us with some thoughts and then we’ll have 20 minutes of silent prayer. In St Margaret’s Church. All welcome.

• 30 June Bishop’s Garden Open

  The Bishop’s garden at 27 Linton Road will be open for charity under the National Garden Scheme, from 2 – 5 p.m. This is a joint opening together with the garden at 13 Belbroughton Road, and admission for the combined gardens is £3.50, children free. There will be refreshments for sale at the Bishop’s House, in aid of our link diocese of Kimberley and Kuruman. Both are lovely gardens and are well worth a visit.

• 14 July St Margaret’s Patronal Festival

  We will be keeping the Patronal Festival for St Margaret’s on Sunday 14th July.
  The 10:30am service will be followed at 12:30pm by a Bring and Share Lunch.

  The 10:30am service will be followed at 12:30pm by a Bring and Share Lunch in the Vicarage Garden (if dry) or the Church (if wet). Please come and do remember to bring some food and drink to share!
