St Margaret’s Church An Anglican Parish Church in the heart of North Oxford

Patronal Festival 18 May 2009

On Sunday 19th July we will be celebrating the Patronal Festival of St Margaret’s. At the 10.30 am service on this day at St Margaret’s we will be welcoming Rev’d Sally Welch at the start of her ministry in this Benefice. We will also be licensing Rev’d Dr Nicolas Bradbury and Rev’d Professor Bernard Silverman to this Benefice. The Venerable Julian Hubbard, the Archdeacon for Oxford, will be the preacher.

As this will be a special occasion for the whole Benefice, the PCC of St Giles have decided that we should make it a combined celebration for the whole Benefice. Hence, there will only be a said service of Holy Communion at St Giles at 10.30 am on this Sunday. After the service there will be shared lunch, either in the garden of the Vicarage or at St Margaret’s Institute.
