St Margaret’s Lady Chapel Appeal 20 December 2009

The St. Margaret’s Lady Chapel appeal has been launched to raise money for the restoration of the stained glass and for the repairs to the Lady Chapel roof, as well as fitting photovoltaic cells to generate solar power. We need to raise £68,000 to cover the cost of these important projects. Full details are in the appeal leaflet, available at the back of the church. See here for more information and pictures.

Latest news: as at 1 January 2010, the money received for the appeal was £15,275. There are also monthly pledges, which for the next year will amount to £2040, and the tax rebate for the coming year on the money donated, which will be about £2,200. We would be very grateful for more monthly pledges (which in the end raise more money than one-off gifts provided that they are kept going!)
