St Margaret’s Lady Chapel Appeal 20 December 2009
The St. Margaret’s Lady Chapel appeal has been launched to raise money for the restoration of the stained glass and for the repairs to the Lady Chapel roof, as well as fitting photovoltaic cells to generate solar power. We need to raise £68,000 to cover the cost of these important projects. Full details are in the appeal leaflet, available at the back of the church. See here for more information and pictures.
The concert by Sir Michael Scholar and the Wine and Strawberries evening together raised £1000 for the Lady Chapel Appeal: a splendid total. Many thanks to all who helped with and attended these events. The Appeal has raised £30,000 so far towards the cost of restoring the Lady Chapel windows and repairing the roof. Our target is £68,000, so please do keep giving and attending events.
