The Evening service will take the form of Choral Evensong with music to include world premieres of both Responses by Bertie Baigent and Canticles in Ab by Michael Brooker.
The second of our two meetings enabled by Thalia Carr entitled ‘Prayer happens’. As before Thalia will lead us with some thoughts and then we’ll have 20 minutes of silent prayer. In St Margaret’s Church. All welcome.
The Bishop’s garden at 27 Linton Road will be open for charity under the National Garden Scheme, from 2 – 5 p.m. This is a joint opening together with the garden at 13 Belbroughton Road, and admission for the combined gardens is £3.50, children free. There will be refreshments for sale at the Bishop’s House, in aid of our link diocese of Kimberley and Kuruman. Both are lovely gardens and are well worth a visit.
We will be keeping the Patronal Festival for St Margaret’s on Sunday 14th July.
The 10:30am service will be followed at 12:30pm by a Bring and Share Lunch.
