There are many opportunities to get involved in the life and worship of St Margaret’s.
We encourage anyone to try out an activity, however unfamiliar it may be. Where necessary training is given.

Volunteers are especially needed for:

Welcoming and handing out books (sidespersons)
Serving coffee and tea after the 10.30 Eucharist
Leading intercessions at the Eucharist
Reading the lesson at the 10.30 Eucharist

Weekly Rotas: St Margaret’s runs two weekly rotas, one for sidespersons and the other for readings, prayers, and tea /coffee after the Sunday morning service. Don’t wait to be asked to participate—it is a good way to get involved in the life of the church for a small commitment of time. Please contact Valentine Cunningham (sidespersons rota) or Frances Bagnall Oakeley (readings, prayers and coffee/tea rota).

Your participation would also be welcome in any of the following activities:

Arranging items needed for services (Sacristans)

Gardening in the church grounds
Praying in private for others
Serving as crucifer, main server, or thurifer

These are a good way to get to know other members of the congregation and to make a personal contribution.
