St Margaret’s – Notices for Sunday 25th November.

Notices

The December SAMs on 1st December will be filled with Advent and Christmas Crafts, come and join in with the fun between 10am and 11:30am.

The SAMs team are looking for help with the planning of craft, buying materials and setting up of the session for the first four SAMs of the new year. If you are able to help please let Tom know.

St Margaret’s Christmas cards are on sale at the back of the church priced at £5 for ten.

Christmas Journey 2018 – On Sunday 2nd December it will be the start of Advent and that means it is the time for the Nativity figures to start their journey around the parish. If you would like the woolly crib figures to come to you for a day in the run up to Christmas, please contact Andrew as soon as possible. Alternatively, you can sign up on the form at the back of church, that way you can choose the day you would like most.

Sam Schad will be collecting toys for the Salvation Army to distribute to children who would otherwise not receive any Christmas presents. Please note, the toys should be new and unwrapped. Please leave any donations in the Lady Chapel either this Sunday or next. Thank you.

Liz Baigent is organising a church cleaning party on 2nd December and the decorating-the-church-for-Christmas party on 16th December. Both will happen after the morning service and will be followed by lunch in church. Please contact Liz (elizabeth.baigent@wycliffe.ox.ac.uk) to volunteer or catch her after the service.
