How can we be sure that the proposals are accurate?

In 2019, St Margaret’s Church instructed Midland Surveys Ltd (www.midlandsurvey.co.uk) to carry out a full detailed survey of the church and its curtilage. The survey took many day to complete, but provided the church with wealth of information on every physical aspect of the building and site. The survey was then used as the basis for the proposals to ensure accuracy.

The proposals have been drawn up by Conservation Architects (conservation-architect.co.uk), who have over 20 years of specialist experience working with churches and historic buildings in conservation areas, such as North Oxford. Our architect, Christian Randall, has been shortlisted for The Presidents’ Award (Re-orderings, alterations and extensions) by the National Churches Trust and Ecclesiastical Architects and Surveyors Association, and gained an Oxford Preservation Trust award in 2019.
