Despite the common misconceptions, parish churches like St Margaret’s do not receive any financial assistance from the UK Government or the national Church, and relies on regular and one-off donations to keep going.
If you are able to, please consider one of the options below:
Donate online
You can use our online giving platform, Give A Little, to make a one-off donation to St Margaret’s using your debit or credit card:
Standing order
If you have a bank account, a standing order is the best way to give to St Margaret’s. You don’t have to remember to pay each month, and it helps us to plan our budget. You decide how much you want to give, and when you want to give it.
You can either set this up yourself via online banking (using our bank details below) or download the standing order form below.
Whichever way you do it, if you are a UK taxpayer then you can ‘Gift Aid‘ your regular donations, meaning every £1 you give is worth £1.25 to St Margaret’s Church as a registered charity.
To enable us to reclaim the tax and increase the value of your standing order, please download and complete the Gift Aid Declaration.
Donation via bank transfer
