We finished a week of Phil & Jim Christmas performances with the Key Stage 2 Christmas Concert in church this evening.
We started last Wednesday with the Early Years Nativity, which was so very sweet. Then we also had an imaginative Key Stage 1 Nativity, using ‘We’re going on a Bear Hunt” as a journey to find Jesus in the stable.
Tonight, the church was packed out, standing room only (and every chair in the building used. We listened to so many talented young people from our parish school singing and playing their instruments, which were interspersed with dramatic readings of the nativity story.
The evening finished with mince pies and mulled wine, provided by school but served by our own team of parents from church – Becca, Claudia and Hazel. We’re grateful for their time and enthusiasm.
We’re also so grateful for our parish school and all they bring to our community here at St Margaret’s Church.
