We would love to hear from you if you are interested in a baptism or christening for a child, or for yourself. People can be baptised at any age and St Margaret’s warmly welcomes those at any point in their journey of faith.
We also offer services of thanksgiving for new babies if you would like to welcome a new arrival to your family in that way.

First Communion and Confirmation
We welcome children from Year 3 – Year 8 to First Communion Classes and those from Year 9 are invited to join preparation for Confirmation. These are fun sessions run jointly between St Giles’ and St Margaret’s Churches.
Confirmation is also open to adults – whether you have been away from church for a while, or never got around to Confirmation. Clergy will support you in preparing for this next step.
We hold an annual service receiving children for their First Communion (usually in late November on the Feast Day of Christ the King) and an annual Confirmation.
We are here to support you on your journey of faith at any stage and are always happy to hear from people who wish to talk about faith, life or questions.
