It was another fine day with plenty of tea and chat last Saturday. This time we had carrot cake, lemon drizzle, Victoria sponge and the ever popular chocolate cake. The time spent on these afternoons is very special, especially in light of HM The Queen’s death last week. It is becoming a space where friends of all ages, old and new, can share together their thoughts, feelings or just what they have done in the week.
We also had lego! Some of our children and young people (and helpers!) made Lego artwork for the table of remembrance in church.
Our next Community Cafe is on Saturday 12th November from 3pm until 5pm. We really hope to see you there!
