Here are some photos from our Light Party on Sunday.
We started the evening with crafts, where we made shadow puppets and stained glass tealight holders.

We then had a Hallowed heroes Treasure Hunt around the church, using brilliant instructions from Michele. I think we all learnt something new about the saints displayed in St Margaret’s stained glass windows. Did you know that there is a image of Mary learning to read in one of windows?
(I don’t have a photo of the treasure hunt as I was in the kitchen!)
Then we had thirteen children join us for a party tea of sandwiches, cakes and fruit.

The parents all voted for their favourite costume and almost unanimously chose Tillie:

We finished off the evening with pass the parcel, followed by a sing song of all our Little Fishes (Toddlers) and Sammy’s favourites as remembered by Kate. It was such a fun party and we’re looking forward to our next (Christmas) event for the little ones. More information soon!
