Our Director of Music, Richard Goodall was eager to give some of the more senior young choristers their red badge this Sunday, as covid has impacted this timetable of recognition as with many other things.
The red ribbon badge was originally known as the “Senior Chorister Badge”. As Richard says, for St Margaret’s it is a mark of achievement and commitment given over several years.
This perhaps meant something a little different this time, as we were able to acknowledge the faithfulness of these young people during the pandemic as they continued to enrich the life of St Margaret’s through their musical talents.
We give thanks for our strong choral tradition and for all those who give their time in that way.
